  • Welcome to the Bizzarri Research Lab!

We are a team dedicated to developing molecular functional materials for energy conversion, catalysis and optoelectronics. We aim to advance the fields of artificial photosynthesis, advancing light-driven CO2 reduction, pioneering sustainable (noble metal-free) catalysis, and innovating in photochemistry and photo(redox)catalysis. Our expertise also includes (spectro)electrochemistry and creating (electro)luminescent materials for in-vitro and in-vivo imaging.

Our lab is at the Department of Chemical Sciences and Technologies of the Tor Vergata University of Rome.

  • Breaking News – New Doctoral Student joining the lab

Welcome to Andrea Meuti, the first Doctoral Student of the Bizzarri Team at the University of Rome Tor Vergata!

His research will deal with photocatalytic utilization of C1-building blocks
